What makes Millennials tick? This week we get valuable insights from Psychologist Meghan Reid.
“Millennials really want to find purpose or meaning in their work, even right away and in entry level roles.” Based in Toronto, Meghan is a Career and Workplace Psychologist for both individuals and organizations. She focuses on career and personal counselling. She has worked with hundreds of clients to help them make strategic and informed career-related decisions, often pertaining to their ideal career fit. “Millennials are not lazy, but they may not see their role in the big picture.”
Meghan’s areas of focus within the personal counselling sphere involve: anxiety, depression, self-esteem and confidence, self compassion, communication, interpersonal concerns, and boundary setting. Her organizational/corporate work centres around team dynamics and effectiveness as well as workplace culture.
“Millennials are results oriented. It’s all about their output and contribution rather than the letters or status. They want to be more flexible as a result of their use of technology.” Meghan is a seasoned facilitator and has worked with teams/groups of all sizes. Meghan earned her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. She is a Registered Psychologist in both Ontario and Alberta and is a Certified Emergenetics Associate. Additionally, Meghan hosts Career Cravings, A weekly radio show that airs on Bold Radio.
