We're talking about Community Leadership this week with Jenna Sudds.


Jenna Sudds is the Executive Director for the Kanata North Business Association in West Ottawa. It is, by far, Canada’s largest Technology Park with over 500 local, regional and Global companies and well over 20,000 employees.

Jenna has a strong reputation as a thought leader and visionary through high-level roles both within the federal government and private sector. She is passionate about serving the businesses within her community, including Economic Development, Marketing her specialties include Executive Leadership, Economic Development, Marketing and Financial Analysis.

As President & Executive Director of the KNBIA, her leadership, vision and ability to deliver results on a variety of initiatives has positioned her community as one of the strongest and most productive places of business in the country. She has established a strong working relationship with the city’s Economic Development Group and forged immensely successful partnerships and initiatives – such as the rebranding initiative of her business community, a well-received and on-track five-year Strategic Plan, and collaborations with local post secondary institutions, such as the University of Ottawa and the Telfer School of Management.

Jenna has been recognized with 40 Under 40 Awards by both Development Counsellors International (2017) and by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce (2015). She also holds a variety of board positions with impactful organizations including the Kanata Food Cupboard.
